An area resident is bringing "unmentionables" that belonged to her great grandmother and also a special necklace that was hers as well. The items date from 1872 when the Mansion was at its high point in terms of parties and a variety of entertainments.
A self guided tour of the Mansion which includes the nursery is included in the event and the gift shop is offering a variety of things for last minute shopping for those still looking for that special gift. There are other surprises and treats as part of the day. Barbara Held's Pork Loin Roast is the centerpiece for the dinner.
